I took this video last week of few largemouth bass on beds in Michigan. The thing that surprised me most is you can't really even tell there is a bed there. Have you guys ever noticed that some bass make large beds and others don't? The video is a short two or so minute glimpse underwater of the bass hanging around the bed and how one reacts to a wacky rig near it. #largemouth #bassfishing #bass #underwater #spawn

What I learned from fishing the Urchin lure. How to rig and how critical weight is.
I had one of the first websites back in the day for bass fishing. It was called Rick's Ultimate Bass Fishing. It consisted mainly of fishing articles and big bass photos from around the world. During that time I became friends with a fellow angler from California Chris Wolfgram (FishChris). FishChris ran a website called TrophyBassOnly.com. We shared a lot of notes, photos, and few long distance conversations over the phone back then. Here is one of his early submissions to my website back in 2000.
