Lake Erie 06-14-23
Ribs held up the day before from shore, so I headed out in the boat last Wednesday. I found bass stacked up on rock points and shallow humps and some smallmouth on a deeper hump. Ended the day with around 35 bass. Drop shot, ned rig, flat sided crankbait did the most damage.
This was our first fishing trip of 2023. Strong winds and storms the day prior led into our bluebird fishing day. Jim and I went out over the holiday weekend and decided to drop the camera down on a rocky shoal. It was loaded with inactive young year class smallmouth.
